We have been building these cedar log stools for over 15 years. The beauty of this item is its versatility and each piece is unique. They are constructed for Wisconsin White Cedar, which is well known for its high resistance to decay and insects. Each stool is 13 inches high and is constructed of white cedar. Each stool top is at least 8 inches in diameter. These stools are finished with a Spar-Urethane which provides protection from moisture and the graying and fading effects of the sun.
Please note that cracking (aka checking) is a natural part of the drying process and will not effect the structural integrity of the stool. Please shop with confidence because we stand behind what we make. The stools will always have one larger check on the top.
